Here is another example of a BAD COP simultaneously doing a GOOD and a BAD thing. POS Officer Trenton Garner was part of a posse formed to find a missing 12 year old. For some reason, her missing for two hours required a search party. Since I’m questioning the judgment of these clowns, I’m not sure the posse to find her was justified. I’m thinking it was the over-reaction of a group of officers that didn’t have anything better to do than to search for someone who’d been missing two hours, but I digress…
Anyway, the news reports that the posse was following a dog that led them into Heehaw’s fenced in pasture. Heehaw then (apparently) protested the posse’s intrusion into HIS pasture by heading towards the posse and making donkey sounds. Note HeeHaw was tiny and as such not a serious threat. One “terrified” officer decided he should try to “taze” Heehaw for protesting their presence. That attempt got Heehaw to move away from the morons; but, POS Garner was still afraid of the retreating donkey – so he shot it as it moved away. Poor Heehaw died from his wound.
Heehaw’s owner is now suing the bastards, I hope she wins enough to bankrupt them out of existence. RIP, Heehaw…
